The Google Translate widget has been relocated to the upper-left corner of the website.
- To use the widget, look for "Select Language," which reveals a drop-down menu when you click on it.
- Choose your preferred language
- Your page will reload automatically in that language.
If you do not see your preferred language in the list of options:
- Go to the Google Translate website feature here.
- Click on the drop-down arrow to the right of the given language choices.
- Choose your preferred language.
- Copy and paste https://www.librarypoint.org/ into the website search bar
- Click on the circular, blue-arrow button to translate the site.
Another window will pop up with the translation you have chosen for librarypoint.org.
At this point, all librarypoint.org pages, except for the catalog, events, and some database results, will appear in the chosen language. Some databases will acknowledge that Google Translate is active, but will require you to specify the language anew.
To restore the English language version, either navigate to the upper left and press "Show original" or go back to the Translate widget on the library's website and choose “English” from the drop-down menu.
