About Ann
Like all librarians, I love a good story, so I began my career as a journalist seeking out interesting topics to write about for newspapers and magazines.
Always an avid reader and library user, when I became a mother, I switched gears and introduced my children to the joys of the library.
We were regulars at storytime and brought home bags of books to satisfy our daily reading habit until they went off to school. Then I became a volunteer at their school library and discovered a whole new career.
That experience led me to CRRL, the best place for a former writer to find good stories.
Through the years, I’ve read my share of children’s books, young adult realistic fiction and fantasy, sci-fi, psychological thrillers, and literary fiction. I’ve shared recommendations in book clubs, written reviews for library journals, and I especially love giving suggestions to customers looking for good books. And now I’m introducing my grandchildren to the wonders of the library!
I’m excited to share my next good read with you and look forward to hearing about your favorites, too.
Happy Reading!
