When a regular paycheck isn’t on the horizon, it’s good to know that your public library can lift your spirits with free entertainment, while also providing opportunities to advance your skills and find future employment.
Check out these no-cost options online or in one of our many branches:
Free wifi and free computers - to use at the library. No need to park yourself at a coffee shop for wifi. Computer not working or don’t have one? Sign up to use a computer in the library.
Free movies. If online viewing subscriptions are taking a bite out of your budget, look at our Kanopy streaming service for both adults and children. Want to see movies, but not interested in streaming? CRRL has a large collection of popular, classic, and educational films on DVD.
No subscription costs for these magazines. Read the latest popular magazines on a computer or handheld device at no cost with your library card. It’s a great way to keep clutter down, too.
Fax, copy, and print with us. We know that these services can be incredibly helpful for job seekers and students, and we don’t charge for them.
Gather together for learning and fun. Check out our Classes & Events listings to find happenings for people of all ages in our branches.
No fees for children’s and teens’ late returned materials. Worried about losing track of books a week or two after their due date? It’s okay. Get the materials back to us, and there will be no late fees. We want to help you raise lifelong readers!
Give your resume a makeover. Check out our Careers & Workforce Development section for job-seeking and career-transition support, along with online training.
And, as always, we have books galore. Whether you’re a fan of print books, audiobooks, or eBooks, we can meet your reading needs. Want suggestions? Ask a CRRL librarian.
