Many people find that modern life offers a lot to learn, but have very little time in which to learn it. Some of our Lunch & Learn videos offer a chance to get financially savvy quickly. On the March 14 video, you can find the "Introduction to Credit", opens a new window session. It teaches how credit impacts your life and how credit theories and concepts function. This is followed by April 11's "Good Credit vs. Bad Credit,", opens a new window which explains what a credit score is and the differences between bad and good credit. Finally, May 9 has the debut of the "Building Your Credit", opens a new window video, which explains how to increase your credit score. All of these videos are presented by Rappahannock United Way.
Lunch & Learn offers education on many other topics, too. On the March 21 video, you can watch "ELL Resources on Demand". This video explains library resources and services for English language learners (ELL), which are available at no charge. The March 28, "Learning at the Fredericksburg Area Museum (FAM)", opens a new window video discusses the Fredericksburg Area Museum, opens a new window and its educational initiatives for the community. The April 25 video, featuring "Rappahannock Education Farm,", opens a new window explains sustainable farming practices.
