The CRRL Mobile app is recommended for teens and adults. Parental controls are not available in the app.
Special App Features
Customize home screen
The home screen can be customized by setting the items to appear and their order. To do this, click on the Settings gear symbol, and then "Customize home screen."
Multiple Library Card Accounts
Multiple library cards can now be managed from the "My library card" section of the app. Up to eight cards can be added.
Digital Library Card
Did you forget your physical library card? No problem, pop it up in the app.
Check Out with the App
In a hurry? Grab your physical books and check them out to your library account when you have time with the digital check out feature.
Renew All
With a quick push of a button, you can renew all your items you have checked out (as long as they're not requested by someone else!)
How to Get Started
- After downloading the app, log in with your 14-digit library card number and pin (usually the last 4 digits of your telephone number). If you don't have a card yet, click the link "I don't have a library card".
- If you forgot your PIN number, click "For your PIN?" and request a reminder from a library staff member.
- After you've logged in successfully, you're ready to use the app! You can handle your loans under the "My Borrowing" tab in the app.

The Home Screen
Personalized Library Dashboard: If you have any items due, ready for pickup, or fees, the dashboard at the top of the screen reflects their status. Tapping each icon takes you to the relevant section of your borrowing page.
Customize home screen: The home screen can now be customized by setting the items to appear and their order. To do this, click on the Settings gear, and then "Customize home screen."
Easy Access Library Barcode: Tapping the card icon on the home screen displays a digital version of your library barcode. You can use this barcode to check out when you are at the library.
New at the Library: See the most recent additions to the library's catalog for books, audiobooks, and movies & TV.
Events: See upcoming events and filter by audience, event type and/or location. You can also tap the event to view the listings and event details.
For Later Shelf: Directly from the home screen, you can see items that are available from your For Later shelf.
Library News: Stay up to date with the latest news from the library.
Online Resources: See our latest online resources we have to offer.
Staff Lists & Blogs: See the latest lists and blogs created by staff.
Individual Item Screen
Ratings: You can view the average rating for an item and also add your own.
Managing Your Borrowing: You can manage your holds for all items and also manage checkouts and returns of electronic items through the app's item screen.
Access Digital Content Seamlessly: You can access digital content by either opening it in a browser or through a 3rd party app if you have it installed on your device.
Discover Related Content: On the item screen, you can view items that are similar to the title you are looking at. You can view related content by subject heading, genre, or by related works contributed to or by the author.
My Profile
Account Settings: Here you can view and adjust all the settings related to your account.
Preferred Locations: You can choose and update your preferred locations here, which are reflected across the app.
Borrowing & Shelves: You can access and manage your borrowing and shelves with the full functionality already available to you through our web catalog.
Other Features
Improved Search and Filters: Easily see all the formats of a title CRRL owns, which can be easily filtered. You can also scan the ISBN of any item to check to see if it is available at your library.
Location List View: Here you can see all of the locations for your library, whether or not they are open, and the distance to each location.
Library Alerts: View important library alerts with one click on your customized homepage.
Branch Information Page: Here you can view hours, closures, contact, facilities, and feature information for a particular branch.
